In brief
Welcome to the Albanian Network for Rural Development webpage!
ANRD is a non-governmental organization registered under the law no. 5216, on December 11, 2015 at the Court of Tirana. The Network is a membership organization.
The General Assembly is the main governance body of the Network. It meets annually to provide strategic direction, guidance and advice in line with the Network priorities and other important topics in rural development practice. Currently the General Assembly gathers up to 21 members with the right to voting.
The Board represents the steering group of the Network, consisting the main governance body of the ANRD. It follows up the work and ensures good coordination of their thematic work. The Board consist of 5 members elected by the General Assembly of the Network.
ANRD member organizations
The members of the Network are organizations with long standing experiences and consolidated profiles in important activities in rural development area. They share the same vision and have agreed to jointly work to advance the role of private sector and civil society in the country’s rural agenda.
According to the Statute, ANRD members can be local and national organizations whose aims and objectives are similar to the Network. Applications can be submitted to the ANRD address and the final decision is made by the members of the General Assembly.
