Invitation to public debate on
“Identification of challenges and opportunities related to the process of approximation of legislation on green economy “
In the frame of the project Networking and Advocacy for Green Economy – NAGE, the Albanian Network for Rural Development organizes the public debate “Identification of challenges and opportunities related to the process of approximation of legislation on green economy” to be held on 25 March 2021.
The debate will focus on the study ” State of affairs for fostering green economy in agriculture and rural development: Comparative analysis of national programs and measures in the Western Balkan countries and Croatia ” (please find attached here) conducted in the frame of NAGE project, within the objective: Support to enhance the policy and decision-making impact of the Balkan Rural Development Network (BRDN) and its constituents, through involvement in the agricultural and rural program and policy reform processes for introduction of the green economy concept.
Scholar community, rural, environmental and farmers’ associations and CSOs, as well as national and local policy decision makers are welcome to participate in the debate, to identify opportunities and challenges related to the approximation process to the EU CAP, while considering the country’s legal progress and the progress of the region in this regard.
The event will be organized as a hybrid activity with limited physical participation (a maximum of 20 participants) therefore please confirm your participation not later than 18.03.2021 at the address: [email protected]. Further organizational details will be announced in the following days to the confirmed participants while travel and lunch costs will be covered by the organizers. The activity will be conducted in full compliance with the norms of social distancing and COVID 19 safety measures.
