The Rural Parliament provides an important opportunity for policy makers, public and private institutions, civil society organizations, donors’ community, academia and others to review current progress and promote changes in policies and practices to ensure that the “Albanian Rural Agenda” will be developed and inclusive to all people living in rural communities, as well as, enabling their participation in this process.
For many European, rural parliaments represent an important biannual event to raise the voice of rural communities and address the needs of people living and working in these communities.
In this context, Albanian Rural Parliament represents a critical instrument, being also nationally inclusive and representative, to offer know-how and bring awareness to institutions to address the problems that rural development in Albania faces.
