Dear friends, colleagues, and partners,
The Albanian Network for Rural Development (ANRD), together with the host municipalities of Lezhë and Mirditë, is pleased to invite you to participate in the 4th Albanian Rural Parliament – a national platform for dialogue, cooperation, and co-creation dedicated to shaping the future of rural Albania. This year’s edition will take place on 25–27 March 2026 and will bring together representatives from all 61 municipalities of the country, civil society organizations, rural enterprises, youth, farmers, academics, and central and local public institutions to jointly discuss and build a shared vision for rural development in the context of Albania’s European Union integration process.
The Parliament will open on 25 March with a territorial event dedicated to local stakeholders from the Lezhë region. The official opening session will take place on 26 March at 10:00, and the programe will conclude on 27 March at 13:00. Participants from other regions of the country are welcome to join starting from 26 March.
This edition focuses on the theme “Rural Albania on the Path to the EU through Partnerships, Reforms and Cohesive Territorial Development”. Through plenary sessions, thematic “Rural Talks” workshops, policy dialogue sessions, and the Second National Assembly of Rural Youth, the Parliament will provide a dynamic space to discuss key challenges and opportunities, as well as the role of communities in reform and development processes. We warmly invite municipal representatives, organizations, young people, rural entrepreneurs, and all interested stakeholders to register and actively engage in this important process.
