Internship opportunity
The Albanian Network for Rural Development (ANRD) is interested in motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team! We offer a three-months unpaid internship with flexible working hours and the possibility of further engagement at ANRD based on performance during the internship period.
ANRD is a genuine initiative of civil society that seeks to contribute to the development of rural communities by taking up an active role in the processes and reforms of the rural development sector. To this end, ANRD is trying to build an active and inclusive national rural agenda including gender equality, rural youth civic engagement, community-led local development, family farming, Agri-tourism, sustainable agriculture, smart villages etc.
Established in December 2015, ANRD is a membership organization currently encompassing 34 member organizations with long standing experiences and consolidated profiles in important activities of rural development. They share the same vision and have agreed to jointly work to advance the interests and priorities of rural stakeholders toward sustainable rural development.
Main responsibilities
- Assist with project implementation
- Support in administrative and financial tasks
- Assist with social media management, website content creation, and other communication activities.
- Taking minutes and preparing written briefs for team members
- Translate specific documents as necessary from Albanian to English and vice versa
- Work effectively with supervisors, mentors, and other interns to achieve common goals.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Currently pursuing a master’s program or a recent graduate in social sciences, agriculture and rural development, or a related field
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals with a strong interest in rural development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
