The Albanian Network for Rural Development has released a national report titled “Participatory Consultation and Dialogue to Strengthen Farmers’ Position in the Value Chain – The case of the dairy and medicinal & aromatic plants sectors.”
This report highlights the challenges and opportunities within two important sectors for Albania’s agriculture and rural development: dairy and medicinal & aromatic plants. It is based on insights gathered from a bottom-up consultation process conducted in various rural areas across the country. This process involved about 100 farmers and other relevant stakeholders in these two value chains. This process aimed to promote inclusive, evidence-based policy dialogue that empowers farmers’ position in agri-food value chains.
