This report produced by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) provides an analysis of agricultural and rural development policy in the countries of Southeastern Europe (SEE) in accordance with their objective of EU integration. The document provides a cross-regional analysis of current policies in relation to the EU and a series of recommendations followed by a country-level analysis of agricultural policies in each country. Comparing agricultural policy in SEE countries and the EU, the report highlights areas that are still in need of reform and provides a discussion of possible changes.
