The Agriculture Development of Alp District (Mountainous ADAD) was established in 1996. Based in Tirana, ADAD originates from the Agricultural Development Association of Dibër. It is a professional agricultural organization with non-political, non-governmental, and non-profit purposes. Its main aim is to help producers and rural residents organize for rural development and establish necessary functions and services for these communities.
Mission of Mountainous ADAD is to coordinate experiences, knowledge, and innovation and make them available to members and others interested.
Activities of Mountainous ADAD include expanding professional dynamics to address national agricultural and rural development issues, protecting the interests of producers, educating and training producers and specialists to enhance technical and professional skills, as well as promoting agricultural development and providing technical assistance to producers.
