The regional meetings followed the local forums organized in 12 Qarks of the country, and brought together about 120 participants. The regional meetings aimed at empowering local actors to influence an encouraging environment for sustainable rural development.

The role and contribution of active local actors regarding the interventions of the 100-village program was the focus of the discussions. Based on current rural development occurrences, focus of the regional meetings was also to decide on a effective tool to address the needs on the 100-village government program and other rural development activities.
